Warp Stop Monitor For Weaving Machines is a warp break detection and automatic protection system on the loom. Its core function is to monitor the warp status in real time, stop the warp immediately if it breaks or loosens, prevent defects, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
1、 Core functions
Real time interruption detection
Each warp thread is threaded into a metal warp stopper; Normally, the yarn is tightly stretched to support the warp stopper; When the menstrual cycle is broken or severely loosened, the stop piece falls and triggers an electrical/mechanical signal.
Instantaneous automatic parking
Stop the machine within * * ≤ 0.1 seconds * * after detecting abnormalities to avoid continuous defects during weaving.
Prevent key weaving defects
Eliminate missing warp, jumping flowers, warp shrinkage, warp skewness, and hole breakage, significantly reducing the defect rate and raw material waste.
Improve efficiency and reduce burden
Reduce the workload of manual patrols and fabric inspection, allowing one person to oversee more weaving machines and increase the hourly output.
Protecting equipment and safety
Prevent winding of broken warp and damage to the reed; Reduce downtime losses caused by defective fabric rework.
2、 Working principle (simplified)
Electrical (mainstream): The stop pad lands on the electrode → the circuit conducts → the controller triggers the stop.
Photoelectric type: The stop plate falls to block infrared light → The signal of the photoelectric tube changes → Parking.
Mechanical: The stop pad falls and locks the swing rod → Mechanical interlocking braking → Parking.
3、 Typical application scenarios
High speed shuttleless weaving machines such as rapier, jet, water spray, and shuttle (essential).
Production of medium and high-density fabrics such as cotton, synthetic fibers, silk, and denim.
Quality control of high value-added fabrics (such as home textiles, clothing fabrics, industrial fabrics).
