Loom, also known as textile machinery, looms, spinning machines, weaving machine is initially woven cloth, shuttleless weaving machine technology from 19 onwards century started studying, from 50 onwards step by step into the international decade market. Since 20 Century 70 since the years, many new non-woven fabrics have been put into the market. Shuttleless looms have achieved remarkable results in improving fabrics and increasing the efficiency of looms. They are widely used in various countries around the world and speed up the process of weaving equipment transformation. The share of shuttleless looms in many developed areas has reached about 80% . There is a general trend of replacing shuttle looms with shuttleless looms.

Loom, the common name of loom. The earliest loom was a loom ( also called a waist machine ) that sat on the ground . The method of use is to step on the warp stick of the loom with one foot, hold the beating-up wooden knife in the right hand to tighten the weft and the left hand to make the weft lead. There is no frame for this foot-supporting waist machine. One end of the cloth rolling shaft is tied to the waist. The two feet press on the warp beam at the other end and tension the fabric. The heald rod lifts the warp to form a shed, inserts the weft with a bone needle, and beats the weft with a beating knife. An important achievement of waist weaving is the use of heald rods, warp splitters and beating knives. This loom although very simple, but has been turned down the cloth fell around weft, and other matter before and after 3 movement directions, it is the ancestor of modern looms.
In the production practice of weaving, people gradually innovated and successfully created a pedal-lifting diagonal loom. Its images have appeared many times on the stone portraits of the Han Dynasty. This kind of oblique loom already has a frame, the warp surface and the horizontal machine base are at an inclination angle of fifty or sixty degrees, and the opening device of the pedal lifting heddle is adopted. The weaver can sit and operate with both hands and feet. The productivity is generally more than 10 times higher than that of the original loom . It was a very good loom in the world at that time.
During the development of the textile industry, various forms of shuttleless looms appeared, including rapier looms, projectile looms, air jet looms, water jet looms, multiphase looms, magnetic weft insertion looms, etc. . Compared with shuttle looms, the fabrics produced by shuttleless looms have incomparable advantages in terms of output, quality, variety and so on. Shuttle looms have been replaced in most of the weaving fields. This pace has been further accelerated. The textile industry expanded to developing countries. Judging from the technological development of international shuttleless looms and the needs of the textile industry, air-jet looms have made rapid progress in terms of high-speed, wide-width, and serialization. In addition to their wide application in the large-volume cotton industry, the Weaving, jacquard and other fabrics are increasingly widely used, and rapier looms have advantages in variety adaptability, changes in fabric patterns, and a wider range of suitable weaving. These two looms have become the two most widely used models in the textile industry.
